Toulouse

Original post is here eklausmeier.goip.de/gallery/2024/09-22-toulouse.

I visited Toulouse, la ville rose, from 07-Sep to 21-Sep-2024. Again to better my French language skills. Toulouse is the fourth-largest city in France after Paris, Marseille, and Lyon.

I attended Langue Onze. This language school offers a separate Android app KLF, which shows the schedule for the week. They also use Google classroom, which you can find here: https://classroom.google.com/. Google classroom shows participants in the school, also stores various media used in class. For example, various PDFs, images, chats, etc. The school is located in the center of Toulouse.

Parks and places: Many places offer seats to take a rest, or there are a couple of restaurants and cafes around. Overall, Toulouse seems young and vibrant. That is not surprising: Toulouse has ca. 500,000 inhabitants. Of these roughly 140,000 are students.

Typical streets: Some are very nice, some are more functional. You will see quite a lot of scooters, and bicycles. To my own surprise, you will also see quite a number of e-bikes.

Churches and monuments.

School and universities.

Waterways: river and canal. They make excellent walks.

The airport and train station. There is a direct bus connection from the airport to the train station. This costs 9 EUR per ride. There are some stops in between, but overall the travel time is 40 minutes.
